Hi I’m Alan
I’m a proud Taranaki local — born and bred here. Taranaki is home. I’ve lived here most of my life, surfed the coast, climbed the mountain, raised a family here, and I love being part of a community that looks out for its own.
I bring over 20 years of experience as a software engineer, business and process analyst, CTO, and technology founder. I’m passionate about building software that removes the repetitive admin from business workflows, helping teams focus on meaningful work while improving efficiency, profitability, and work-life balance.
Previously as co-founder and Chief Software Architect of ProWorkflow.com, I built New Zealand’s first project management SaaS application and grew it into one of the world’s leading online project management solutions. Prior to ProWorkflow I spent years working with government agencies, corporates, and SMEs, analysing their business processes and building custom applications to meet their requirements.
From analysis and strategic planning through to full solution delivery, I’ve spent two decades solving complex business process challenges. AI automation isn’t a pivot for me — it’s simply the next evolution of the work I’ve been doing my entire career.
